Thursday's NW winds and cloud-cover spelled 519 migrating raptors over 8 hours. Many of the birds flew in low. Then Friday--the N wind was great, but the clear blue sky made it difficult to spot the very high-flying hawks-- we had to concentrate to identify, managing to ID 191 over the first 4 hours.
