Hi all, At 12h30, this afternoon, I located the immature (all white) Little Blue Heron that Paul Schoening had discovered yesterday evening.
DIRECTIONS >From Highway 401, West of Cornwall, take Moulinette Road from exit 778. Go south and then turn left (east) on HWY 2 (Vincent Massey Dr.) Then turn left (north) on Richmond Road. A short distance away just before the railway tracks you will notice a marsh/swamp on your left. Park in front of the rock (gravel) pile on the left (west) hand side of the road (parking is limited). I saw the heron from this rock pile; it was perched in a dead tree on the opposite side of the wetlands. Good luck!!
