The Little Blue Heron was on station this afternoon (Saturday, 18 September). I watched it around 14h.15 for about fifteen minutes, as it perched on a bare branch just above the height of the cattails, on the far side of the marsh. It then flew down into the reeds & was no longer visible. It flew up briefly once more but then disappeared again.
Directions: as in previous postings. First sighting was from about fifty yards along the path skirting the marsh.
