Visible in the middle of the development project bordering the Waterloo dump were two suspected Juvenile Lesser black-backed gulls, late yesterday afternoon (Oct 1). There were hundreds of gulls present in the dirt fields, with shallow ponds and some manufactured ponds. Could be many more, i observed what i could in a brief tour to check conditions with binoculars.
