Visitors:
A few today including John and Christine Craft who helped with the count,
Barb and Mark Christel from Columbus, Ohio, Brian Tannahill from Toronto,
and 6th-graders, parents, and teachers from Southwood School in Windsor,
Ontario led by Bev Wannick.


Weather:
Mostly cloudy and cool with a high of 17C. Winds were light N 8-12 km/hr.

Raptor Observations:
A fair number of birds on the move, but less than expected given the
conditions. Mostly Sharp-shins and Vultures with a few Harriers,
Red-tailed, Red-shouldered, Broad-winged, and Cooper's Hawks mixed in. 

Non-raptor Observations:
A few Warblers were around the tower in the morning including 2 Nashville,
2 Orange-crowned, Blackpoll, 10 Yellow-rumped, and Magnolia.  Other notable
songbirds included Winter Wren, 2 Pine Siskin, and 7 Rusty Blackbirds. Also
Greater Yellowlegs, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, 2 Wilson's Snipe, 4 C.
Nighthawks, and 3,480 Blue Jays.

Predictions:
Partly cloudy in the morning becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon. Wind
NW 20 km/hr with a high of 18C.  Conditions look good for a decent flight.
