I decided to check out the fields in northern Scarborough today and located a white adult snow goose mixed in with a flock of Canada geese.
The flock was feeding on a farmer's field on Plug Hat Road, which is the extension of Meadowvale Rd. beyond Old Finch Ave. The area is NE of the Toronto Zoo. The farmer's field was on the southern (right hand) sand of Plug Hat Road just before the railway tracks pass underneath Plug Hat Road. There is a chance that the snow goose and the rest of the flock will overnight at either the Reesor Rd. pond situated just north of Old Finch Ave. or further north on the Reesor Rd. drainage ponds which are just north of Hwy. 407 on the west side of the road. Good birding to all.
