Beautiful day for birding today with a good movement of sparrow species.  
Sparrows observed include, 1 EASTERN TOWHEE, 9 FIELD SPARROWS, 3 CHIPPING 
SPARROWS, 1 VESPER SPARROW, 20 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, 10 WHITE-CROWNED 
SPARROWS, 4 FOX SPARROWS, 30 SONG SPARROWS, 1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW, 3 SWAMP 
SPARROWS and many DARK-EYED JUNCOS.  Couldn't find a Savannah.  Also seen were 
7 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS, 1 RED-NECKED GREBE (floating bridge on hwy. 33 by 
Parrot's Bay), 2 HORNED GREBES, 7 PIED-BILLED GREBES (South Bay), 150 TURKEY 
VULTURES, 2 MERLIN, 15 SHARP-SHINNED HAWKS, 1 COOPER`S HAWK, 14 SANDERLING, 2 
DUNLIN, 1 COMMON RAVEN, 1 BLUE-HEADED VIREO, 14 EASTERN BLUEBIRDS, 1 HOUSE 
WREN, 1 WINTER WREN, 1 NORTHERN PARULA, 1 BLACKPOLL WARBLER, 5 PURPLE FINCH and 
4 PINE SISKINS.  No Monarchs were seen.

Located in Prince Edward County. Take exit 566 (Marysville) off the 401 and go 
south on County Road 49 to Picton. Take County Rd. 8 to County Rd. 17 to County 
Rd. 16 to County Rd. 13. Follow County Rd. 13 to the end until you reach the 
Prince Edward Point National Wildlife Area.
