At about 10 a.m. about 100 m. east of the lighthouse at the end of the pier in Oshawa Harbour a Red Phalarope made a brief visit.
It would fly a few metres drop to the water for a few minutes and then repeat the routine. It was also seen by another birder but not re-located when I returned with Dave Milsom and a few others. Directions: Take SImcoe St. south from the 401 until it ends at Lake Ontario.
