Birders,
An adult male Barrow's Goldeneye was present at the bottom end of the rapids at
Strathcona Park at 2:30pm this afternoon. It was actively feeding with 13
Common Goldeneye and 6 Hooded Mergansers. A scan of the same area on Monday,
Nov. 1st, produced only 6 Hooded Mergansers.

Directions as per the OFNC website: Exit Highway 417 at Nicholas (exit #118),
head north to Laurier, turn right on Laurier, and continue until just before
the street ends, then turn right on Range Road. There is a small parking
lot just before the first apartment building on your left.
