Weather: Overcast and mild (high of 12C) with a few scattered showers and SE winds 6-8 km/hr. Raptor Observations: Only a single Merlin and ad. Sharp-shinned Hawk during the 10 and 11:00 hours, respectively. Local adult, 1st-year, and juvenile Bald Eagles also put in appearances out over the marsh. Non-raptor Observations: A few: 44 Tundra Swans, 11 Bonaparte's Gulls, Belted Kingfisher fishing the trout pond (first appearance in a while), and 2 fly-over Pine Siskins. Predictions: Cloudy with 40% chance of snow flurries. Wind SW 30 km/hr with a high of -1C.
