Observation start time: 09:30:00
Observation end time: 13:00:00
Total observation time: 3.5 hours

Official Counter: Jim Pawlicki

Observers:

Visitors:
Jim McCoy and Len Jones stopped in briefly around noon.

Weather:
Partly cloudy and cold (high of -2C) with strong SW winds 22-24 km/hr with
gusts to 30.

Raptor Observations:
Only 4 Red-tails, all of which were moving the right direction (west and
slowly), although 1 or 2 may have been locals.

Non-raptor Observations:
Very few birds other than gulls or ducks flying around in the cold temps
and high winds. Only birds really of note were 18 Bonaparte's Gulls, 10
Horned Larks, and 4 Am. Goldfinches, all moving west.

Predictions:
Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of snow flurries. Wind W 30 km/hr becoming
light early in the afternoon with a high of 4C. Should be a few more
raptors on the move once the wind calms down, although difficult to say.
