Hi everyone, Sorry about the late report, but I was visited by a juvenile Black-legged Kittiwake while fishing at Old Woman Bay on Lake Superior last Sunday, Nov. 28. The bird was flying near shore, over the beach and feeding on the bay. Old Woman Bay is about 20 minutes South of Wawa, Ontario between Sault Ste. Marie and Wawa on Hwy 17 in Northern Ontario. Old Woman Bay is found in Lake Superior Provincial Park and a sign on the highway indicates where the parking lot and access to the beach is.
