There is a male Canvasback on the Ottawa River below the Deschenes
Rapids. It is hanging out with a bunch of Lesser Scaup and Common
Mergansers off the boat launch at the end of Houle St. in Aylmer, QC.
The bird is not strictly an "OntBird" as it is on the Quebec side of
the river, but still within the Ottawa circle, so...
This bird was previously reported by Frédéric Bédard on the quebecoiseaux.
