Hey Birders,

For the past three days a female Varied Thrush has been present at the home of
Elmer and Bev Ewert, just outside of Waterloo. The Ewert's are very excited
about their bird and are willing to have people come and view it. They live at
3218 Weimar Line, just south of Heidelberg. The bird comes fairly regular,
about every 15 minutes, but seems pretty skittish and often times sits still in
the lone juniper. The Ewert's recommended that people either drive into their
driveway and stay in their car or to park and use the side of the house as a
blind. Remember to use proper birding ethics and that we are guests.

Remarkably or unremarkably for that matter, this location is outside the
Kitchener CBC (which is tomorrow) by 500m. or less and outside the Linwood CBC
by 1.5km!!

Directions: exit the 401 at Hwy 8 north, take Hwy 85 north, towards Waterloo
about 12km. Exit Northfield Road, and go west. Following Northfield, turn right
(north) onto Weber street. Take Weber st. about a km and turn left onto
Benjamin Road. Take Benjamin all the way to Kressler Road (~5km). At Kressler,
turn left and take this to the first road (about 2km), which is Weimar Line.
Turn right onto Weimar and the house is the 3rd on the left #3218.

Good Birding,
