Birders I feel damned if do and damned if I don't.
I am at a family function and unable to view all posts. I saw Willie D'Anna's post earlier. It seemed well intentioned. I guess this means I am now on the dark side but as of now there are multiple responses that will not be released on Ontbirds. Legitimate postings may also be delayed until after I dump my relatives off at the airport (6 am). Ontbirds has no hard and fast rules. We have posting guidelines of expected behaviour. A link to our posting guidelines follows this and every Ontbirds message. Commenting whether a post is appropriate or not is outside expected behaviour. It is disrespectful to other birders, Ontbirds and our sponsor the Ontario Field Ornithologists. In the future do not use this list serve for anything other that a bird report without prior consultation with myself as list coordinator (approval would be nice).
