Regarding the recent posts by McParland and Murr, I have reread my email and I believe that anyone who was offended by it has probably misinterpreted my comments. The intent of my post was to help birders to refind gull rarities. I stand by what I have written. I should also point out that I was not giving a command, I was making a request - with the word PLEASE. I am sorry if this has offended anyone but I do not see why my companions, the Ontario Bird Records Committee, and I deserve to be publicly ridiculed based upon my post.
