Northern Hawk Owl Several birders have contacted me re. my non-sighting posting of yesterday, Jan 20. Apparently everyone saw the Northern Hawk Owl on Thursday except us. Lesson: Stay with it and check up nearer the intersection of 6 and 46 and even west of the intersection. Thank you to those who contacted me. Dan Bone
The Northern Hawk Owl site is west of Dalrymple, and on the north or south side of County Rd 6, 200 to 400 metres east or west of the junction with County Rd 46.
