The Towhee was last seen on Jan 20, 2011. He is now MIA. We have had folks show up at our house almost every day since he was first seen in mid Novemeber but we do not want people to travel here with false expectations. As compensation this weekend we have had 2 Eastern Towhees, a Fox Sparrow, a Carolina Wren and a Tufted Titmouse. We have enjoyed hosting birders. It is our first accidental and it has been quite an experience with over 250 visitors. You were all good. Folks are welcome to visit if you are in the area just to see what might be around.
