 COMMON REDPOLL and SNOW BUNTINGS.

January 30, a rare find in winter, especially away from feeders, a FOX SPARROW on Cothran Road in the Niagara County Town of Porter, among a flock of WHITE-THR. SPARROWS and AMER. TREE SPARROWS. Also on Cothran Road, a female EASTERN TOWHEE, several AMERICAN ROBINS and a NORTHERN SHRIKE.

Also in the Town of Porter, February 3, a YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER
 at a feeder in Ransomville.

Again, on the 30th, a single BOHEMIAN WAXWING with over 100 CEDAR WAXWINGS by the orchards and feeders on Route 18 near the Town of Newfane water plant.

Still in Niagara County, on Youngstown-Wilson Road near Fisk Road in Wilson, an impressive flock of 1200 SNOW BUNTINGS with small numbers of LAPLAND LONGSPURS and HORNED LARKS. Another flock of 600 SNOW BUNTINGS, also with LAPLAND LONGSPURS, in the Town of Somerset on Lower Lake Road at Burgess Road.

After a two week absence, at least 12 COMMON REDPOLLS at a feeder in Orchard Park. COMMON REDPOLLS also at feeders in Wilson and Porter.

At the Iroquois Refuge, a trip around the seven mile Mohawk Pool ski loop found SHARP-SH. HAWK, 2 BROWN CREEPERS and 15 AMERICAN ROBINS. Nearby on Meadville Road, a NORTHERN SHRIKE.
