Hello,
I was at Cobourg Harbour today from 2 to 3:30 pm and there were 2500+ gulls on
the ice. The usual suspects were Ring-billed, Herring and Great Black-backed
Gull. The gulls of interest were several Glaucous, Iceland and one ad. Lesser
Black-backed Gull and one 1st winter Black-legged Kittiwake. The Kittiwake was
flying around and landing on the water. I studied the Kittiwake for 15 minutes
then the gulls flushed and I lost site of the Kittiwake and it was not seen
again. (local birders looked til dusk.)

Lucky birding,
Sarah Petrasek

Directions to Cobourg Harbour take 401 to Cobourg exit Division St./ Hwy 45.
South on Division St. until you come to lake (that is the east side of Cobourg
Harbour). For best viewing follow the shoreline road west to the west end of
the Harbour.
