Folks,

For much of last summer and fall, a Northern Mockingbird regularly swooped
back and forth along Hogarth Ave. between
Broadview Ave. and Hampton Ave.
Since roughly mid-January one has been seen doing the same thing along the
same stretch.
Today -- Friday, Feb. 11 -- raises the possibility that there might have
been more than one. At approximately 10 a.m., in the small trees at the
south end of the big white highrise apartment buildings at the corner of
Broadview and Hogarth, two were spotted, hanging out together.
A potential mating pair? With Feb. 14 coming up? You never know.

Broadview is the first intersection on Danforth Ave. east of the Bloor
Viaduct. South from there, Hogarth runs east, beginning at the south end of
the big white highrises. You can't miss them.
