This morning at about 8:30 there was an Adult Bald Eagle sitting in a tree at the Almonte sewage lagoons. This was just past the gate on Wolf Grove Rd. close to the road.
We did not see it when we returned at 12:30. Directions: From Ottawa take hwy 417 to the Carp/March Rd. exit. turn left and proceed through Almonte. Staying on the main road through Almonte the road turns into Wolf Grove Road.
