Hi, Just read on Timbirds that Mark Milton and two others saw a red winged blackbird, male at a feeder in Elk Lake ON, on Feb. 16th. He was at a feeder and the homeowner, said he had been there for the last couple of days. This is very early for Temiskaming Dist.
Common red poles have taken over the feeders...hundreds are being seen. Cheers, Gert Trudel [email protected] Elk Lake is 43 kms east of Gowganda Hwys 65 and 560 intersect thru the town. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
