During the May 22, 2010 OFO Birding Trip to Amherst Island, I spotted a very
large Cecropia Moth struggling down in the high grass along the berm of the KFN
pond. I helped it onto my hand, raised it up to my shirt pocket, and it then
climbed up onto my shoulder. I believe some photos may have been taken before
it took flight out over the open grasslands.
If anyone managed to get any photos of this large Moth, I would appreciate if
they could please contact my privately.
