Greetings! The weather was not sunny - but there birds were nice. We saw the usual early migrants: RWBB's, Robins, and a Cardinal. The Canada Geese were loudly complaining about something.
We had a nice surprise along the entrance to the marina (west side) with three horned grebes in Winter plumage. Then on the way back there was a Northern Shrike sitting on the treetops. Colonel Sam Smith is at the end of Kipling Ave south of Lakeshore Blvd. Exit the Gardiner on Kipling and go south!
