Tonight on my way home from work ( and I am told yesterday as well ) there were over 100 Tundra Swans in a flooded creek bed and corn field on Snyder Road at Reg. 69, east of Smithville, West Lincoln. There were at least twice that number of Canada Geese and a few A. Widgeons and Pintails with several Mallards.
Directions: From QEW take Ontario St. Beamsville, go south to the end, at King St., turn left then right at Mountain St., cross over Fly Rd. (called Mud Street to the West ) continue to the end and turn left onto Reg. 69, watch for Snyder Rd. to the south (right). Hope they stick around!
