Hi all,
I returned to the Ridge Road Winery after being at Beamer, around 5:55 and met up with my friend Mourad Jabra who seemed deflated after being at the winery for a while and not locating the Mountain Bluebird. With my scope ready I decided to give a final search with him and at 6:00 p.m. I was able to locate it. The female Mountain Bluebird was with a male Eastern Bluebird and they were both still hunting for food. Their hunting actions was what enabled me to locate them. About ten minutes later they must have taken off to roost as we were unable to locate them. The search will continue tomorrow. Directions: QEW Niagara to fifty road and up the escarpment. Turn right at Ridge Rd. The winery is on the north side, west of 10th road east at address 1205 Ridge Road. regards, Barry Cherriere
