The brightly plumaged adult male is still at the spit, in the middle of cell
3.  I rode my bike out this afternoon at 4:45PM, just after the trucking
stopped for the day.

You look at the bird through the scope, and think that surely it is closer
to the OTHER side.  But from the other side it still looks far away.

Binoculars won't get you much more than an ID, not a really good look.
Still - a great looking bird.
