This afternoon I saw two sandhill cranes in a field near Tara, west of Owen
Sound. They were at the edge of a field with corn stubble on the west side of
Bruce County Road 10 and just south of Conc. 12 Arran-Elderslie. From Owen
Sound, go west on Hwy 21 and turn left (south) at Allenford onto Bruce County
Road 10. The field is near the first concession south of Hwy 21 and two
concessions north of Tara.
