Hi Folks, I am posting this on behalf of Stan Phippen - SSM, ON
I received a call from a local birder (Stan Phippen) who was dropping off some supplies at 25 Ford Street, Sault Ste. Marie. He informed me that he had a very vocal Carolina Wren singing in the back yard of this residence (25 Ford Street, Sault Ste. Marie, ON) just after 11:00am this morning. It was still singing at around 11:10am as Stan was leaving the residence. For those wondering - yes...Carolina Wren are quite rare in this area. Ford Street is located north of Queen Street and south of Trunk Rd. (Hwy 17). It can be accessed from Shannon Rd which is connected to both Queen Street and Trunk Rd (Hwy 17).
