Hello,

I sat in my car for protection from the rain this evening at Lakeview Park
Marina in Windsor from about 6:00 p.m. until
7:30 watching the RB Gulls, Bonaparte's Gulls, Forster's Terns and occasional
DC Cormorant fishing in the protected
waters inside the docks. At one point a male RB Merganser was present. At
around 6:30 a Common Loon appeared on the
water just a stone's throw from land. The loon fished the waters out between
the marina and Peche Island for a while,
but returned often to the small area in front of the big NO WAKE sign where
boats enter the docking and fueling area,
giving great views. I could see the red eye without the aid of the binoculars.

Out by Peche Island a great number of Tree Swallows were hunting something on
the surface of the water.

Lakeview Park Marina is located at 9200 Riverside Drive East, which is west of
Manning Road and east of Lauzon Parkway
in Windsor.

Good birding,

Kelly Morrissey, Windsor
