This morning (April 24th) saw some new migrants in the Windsor area. At Black Oak park, I saw a Blue-grey Gnatcatcher. The better birding was at Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park, where I saw a Pine Warbler, along with at least ten male Eastern Towhees. The other Ojibway area specialties (Tufted Titmouse, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Carolina Wren) were all present.
Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park is located across Matchette road opposite Ojibway Park in Windsor. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
