Do you enjoy counting shorebirds? Do you use eBird?

If either of these are true, I'd like you to share your observations with the
Ontario Shorebird Survey through eBird Canada.

Borrowing a great idea from Stu Mackenzie at the Long Point Bird Observatory,
I've created an eBird account where birders may share their eBird lists with
the shorebird survey. Simply share your list with user: CWSfriis (or with
email: [email protected]).

With the wet conditions across the province this spring, I'd like to see how
much 'non-traditional' sites are being used. Additionally, I hope this will
shed some light on additional spots used by birds during the spring migration.
This account will be active indefinitely, so if you don't get out until the
autumn, please share your lists then too!

There are also a number of Ontario Shorebird Survey sites available; please
contact me if you'd like more information or you're interested in picking up a
site.

Not on eBird? Consider joining (http://ebird.org/content/canada); or if you
feel up to it, send me a copy of your list (email: [email protected]).

Birding the Long Point area? Share your list with LPBO (email:
[email protected]) through eBird.

Thanks in advance and good birding!
