Greetings: Just got back from the wetland. A Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs
side by side,
Spotted Sandpipers and a most beautiful Solitary Sandpiper.
A pair of American Coots are also back. A pair stayed in the wetland all least
summer.
Perhaps it is the same pair.
The Osprey are incubating!
Maureen
The wetland is located 7.2 kilometres south of Highway 401 at exit 509. Just
follow the road. The
entrance to the wetland is right beside the roadside platform.
