Good evening Ontbirders,

am), #17288 (10:45 am and 12:30 pm), #17222 (2:05 pm) and #17264 (3:47 pm).
All addresses are on Lakeshore Road. The first site , #17372, is the sixth
cottage north of the Visitor Centre, just a five minute walk from the VC.
All of the other cottages are located some distance to the south of the
Visitor Centre,

The birding hotspot this afternoon was the sloughs along Bennett Road. From
a single convenient bench, you could view 3 Northern Parulas and 4
Black-and-white Warblers,as well as American Redstart, Chestnut-sided
Warbler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Black-throated Blue Warbler and a
pair of Black-capped Chickadees excavating a nest cavity in a short stump
projecting just two feet out of the water.

Other birds of interest were 2 Lincoln's Sparrows on the Maintenance Loop,
our first Gray-cheeked Thrush on Harrison Trail and a Rusty Blackbird in
full "song" on Spicebush Trail.

Good birding,
Steve
