Hi Folks,

This morning between 7:30 and 8:00 we observed a singing Blue-winged
Warbler. It was first seen near the base of peninsula D and was making its
way towards the tip.

We also had some new arrivals (for the study area) including Scarlet
Tanager, Common Yellowthroat, Lincoln's Sparrow, Ruby-throated Hummingbird,
and Magnolia Warbler. It was fairly quiet though, with only 18 birds banded.

Tommy Thompson Park (Leslie Street Spit) is located at the foot of Leslie
Street where it meets Unwin Avenue, south of Lake Shore Boulevard East. The
Tommy Thompson Park Bird Research Station is located on Peninsula D. Follow
the main road 3 km and make a right at the first road, at the sign for the
Aquatic Park Sailing Club.

*The park is open to the public weekends and holidays from 9am-6pm April
through October and 9am-4:30pm November through March.*

Good Birding!
