I had 3 flocks of Brant in Kingston Harbour today. A flock of about 150 off the west end of West Brothers Island at about 1030 AM. I then flushed a flock of about 60 of Salmon Island at 330 PM and another flock of about 120 from West Brothers Island at about 430 PM. I have know way of knowing if the flocks were independent of one another.
Directions: in Kingston, take the Bath Road west until you come to the open lake just west of Collin's Bay. Watch for 3 islands out in the water. The most westerly has a navigational light on its east end. That's West Brothers.
