Visited col sam from 1 until 2.25in the mist. Very active , hilights, Clay 
coloured sparrow , yellow throated vireo,parula,  3 rusty blackbirds, veery, 17 
warbler species total     A quick walk around lambton arena park turned up a 
red headed woodpecker in the oaks, a red bellied woodpecker could also  be 
heard over the rr tracks on lambton golf club grounds.  A third  woodpecker 
species, was a Hairy attending its nest already with hatchlings. Nest cavity up 
about 30 feet excavated in the underside of a large branch. No chance of the 
nestlings getting wet in the rain. !   A male orchard oriole seen,a pair of 
Orchards have been nesting in the park for  the past 4 or 5 years .  This park 
is first left going west, over the Humber bridge. Follow the road into the 
arena parking lot.   Col sam is at the foot of kipling ave at the waterfront.
