Ontbirders,

Keeping with the prevailing theme this year in Ontario, [that is;
Yellow-throated Warblers everywhere!] this morning there was a persistently
singing male Yellow-throated Warbler along the south-eastern edge of the
Devonwood Conservation Area, in Windsor. The bird was easy to see but high up
so
it was not possible to make a sub-specific ID.

I actually watched the bird from the parking lot of the hotel I was staying at
- the ''Budget Inn'' [that backs onto the CA]......despite the ominous sounding
name, a fine place to stay. The Inn parking lot and the CA can be reached by
following Hwy 42 west into Windsor, where it becomes Division Street. The Inn
parking lot is on your right, past Woodward Blvd. Devonwood is west about .5
km,
bear right on Division.

Cheers,
