As of 5:15 this afternoon the Godwit was still present. Also seen were 4 Black-bellied Plover, 1 Dunlin, 1 White-rumped Sandpiper and a half dozen peeps (to far with poor light to id.). Mixed in with the 100 or so Mallards was one Brant.
Directions: From Hwy 416 exit on West Hunt Club Rd. go east to Greenbank Rd. turn south and half way to Fallowfield Rd. on the west side is a hay field with a wet area. The hay is very high making seeing the birds and indeed the wet area hard to see.
