This morning (Canada Day), I stumbled across a Brant at Riverain Park in Ottawa.
(Google Maps link: http://maps.google.com/?ll=45.431241,-75.670019&spn=0.00387,0.009634&t=h&z=17) The goose was feeding on grass near the bike path. It looked ratty and, upon closer inspection, it hissed and revealed that it had an injured left leg. It's in a spot where people feed the ducks a lot, so it might do okay if the heat doesn't get it.
