Hi all,
Dawn Scranton mentions that the bird was still there at 10 am this morning, along with 3 car loads of birders from the Ottawa area. DIRECTIONS: >From Highway 417 take exit 58 (between the Casselman and St-Isidore exits) and turn south on Highway 138. At the lights in St-Andrews turn right (SW) on HWY 18 and not too far down the road keep left to merge onto HWY 36. Continue SW along HWY 36 past the HWY 401 overpass. Richmond Road is the first major road on your left. Turn left onto Richmond road and head SE to just past the active railway tracks. See link to map of Richmond road wetlands: Park at ''A ''or north of the tracks if no room. Follow the abandoned tracks to ''B'' to observe the ibis: http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Richmond+Rd&daddr=45.040022,-74.836013&hl= en&sll=45.039142,-74.832816&sspn=0.012342,0.021544&geocode=FYhIrwIdtiaK-w%3B &mra=me&mrsp=1,0&sz=16&z=16 Good luck!!
