At 8:30 this morning (August 12th) another observer and I saw two of the
juvenile Western x Eastern Kingbird Hybrids.   They are quite independent
now.   I saw one of them capture what looked like a grasshopper, and both of
them were feeding on some quite unripe wild grapes.    I had no good
opportunity for photos, but it was easy to see the white outer tail
feathers, faint mask, faint yellow underparts (think a fall phoebe) and lack
of the white terminal tailband in both of the birds that I saw.

No sign of any adults, or of the third juvenile this morning.

The birds were located close to the large red and white hydro tower as
mentioned in James Holdsworth's original post on August 10th.
