Conditions remain fantastic at the Tilbury lagoons. I checked them out today with Matt birarda. We ran into Ken and Mike Burrell and between the four of us had the following: 3 ad. Long-billed Dowitcher 1 juv. Red-necked Phalarope 3 juv. Stilt sandpiper 2 juv. Baird's sandpiper
Altogether there were 14 species of shorebirds. Another highlight was an adult Horned Grebe. Photos of the above birds will be posted on my blog tonight ([email protected]). Directions: exit 56 from the 401. Head west and turn right on Edgefield sideroad. At the end of the road turn right and the lagoons will be on the right after 1 km.
