Hi Ontbirders, Kim Toews and I birded the Enbrun Sewage Lagoons today from around 1pm-3:15pm. We located 3 Red-necked Phalaropes, as well as many Lesser Yellowlegs, Semipalmated Sandpipers, Spotted Sandpipers and a single Least Sandpiper. There were good numbers of ducks including numerous Mallards, Ruddy Ducks, Wood Ducks and a single Redhead. Other birds in the area included 2 Pied-billed Grebes, 3 Common Moorhens and a few small flocks of Bobolinks. Tree Swallows were also numerous, with a few Bank Swallows mixed in.
Good Briding! Brendan Toews _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization. Send bird reports to [email protected] For information about ONTBIRDS visit http://www.ofo.ca/
