A brief burst of birds in the late afternoon when the rain let up for an extended period of time. Ospreys put in a good showing, as did Sharp-shinned Hawks. The first Peregrine Falcon of the season burst over the tower at treetop height. Non-raptor Observations: Highlight today was an astounding (at least for me) 205 Black Terns moving through in a few large groups in the rain. Also a nice foraging flock of passerines was around the base of the tower. It included 15 species of warbler and a Philadelphia Vireo.
