Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9.75 hours

Official Counter: Stephen Kolbe

Observers: Jim McCoy, Patrick Tomlinson, Steve Wagner

Visitors:
A handful of visitors today, including Steve Wagner and Pat Tomlinson from
Cincinnati.

Weather:
A strange weather day. Heavy clouds and fog to start the day, a brief rain
shower, and then eventual clearing. Winds were very light for the majority
of the day out of the southwest. Temperature ranged from 19-26 degrees C.
Visibility was never very good today.

Raptor Observations:
A few migrants, but overall quite slow. Highlights were two Peregrine
Falcons (one immature and one adult) quickly flying down the beach.
Amazingly, not a single Buteo was spotted all day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Another Red-headed Woodpecker, the season's first Rusty Blackbird, three
American Golden Plovers, and a nice foraging flock containing thirteen
species of warblers headlined today. Blue Jays are starting in, with 5790
passing today.
