The winds were not favourable today but a few birds did show up in the morning before the winds shifted to a southerly direction. 43 species total.
Highlights: Bald Eagle 1 immature Peregrine Falcon 1 adult Sharp-shinned Hawk - about 19 (I left my notes at the watch) Copper's Hawk - 1 Northern Harrier - 3 migrants Turkey Vulture - 2 or 3 migrants American Kestrel - about 9 other birds: Blue Jay - 773 (this is an actual count of migrating individuals) only one Canada Goose !!!! 4 hummingbirds 4 pipits one Virginia rail (singing?) one Common Gallinule one Great Egret Common Yellowthroat - singing Black-thr.
