Observation start time: 06:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 5.75 hours

Official Counter: 1Counter, Colin Horstead

Observers: Jim Dunn

Visitors:
A lone visitor with his wife and dog out for a walk.

Weather:
Cloudy all day...low cloud moving from the N and the high cloud moving from
the W...with rain moving in around mid-morning which forcee the counters
under cover for a bit...then it dried out a bit in the early afternoon and
allowed for a couple more hours of observation. Temp ranged from 15C to
start and actually dropped to 12C at the end. Wind was N all day moderate
then strong.

Raptor Observations:
A total of 171...not bad for a messy day of weather. Bulk of the flight was
Kestrels (92) and then Sharpies (59) ...along with Harriers (18) and
Ospreys (2).

Non-raptor Observations:
A couple hundred Blue jays, a Great Blue, Cormorants passing along the
lake, Cedar Waxwings, Goldfinches, RT Hummingbirds, Wild Turkeys, lots of
Canada Geese headed westward...and a lone Northern Flicker.
