Hello,
Even though it was drizzling rain all morning, from 7:30am to noon today, there was a steady movement of warblers, kinglets and vireos leaving the southern side of the Gatineau Park in Chelsea, north of Aylmer, Quebec. The Blue-headed Vireo was the most abundant bird in the group. The trees in my backyard, had a slow but non-stop movement of birds over this period, I was even entertain by a Blue-headed Vireo singing for a short duration of time. On another topic, I have had a Northern Screech-Owl calling on the odds evenings around dusk for the last couple of weeks. So far, it has not made any appearances. Cheers, Brian Young CCNAB at http://www.birds-of-north-america.net _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
